A Victorian senator has called on affected Bellarine residents wanting to give evidence to the parliamentary cancer cluster committee to get involved.
The Senate Community Affairs committee is in the process of investigating a possible cluster on the Peninsula, with a local hearing set for February 10.
Sarah Henderson encouraged residents to register their interest with the committee.
“This is an opportunity for people effected and those with local knowledge to tell their story,” Senator Henderson said.
“We have heard from a range of experts who have assisted the committee and it is now time to hear from more locals to better understand their personal account.”
Anyone interested in registering can email the committee at community.affairs.sent@aph.vic.gov.au
