A MONSTER wave is coming to the Geelong Adventure Park this November.
One of only two in Australia, thrill seekers have been warned to get ready for the ultimate monster family thrill waterslide, The Tsunami.
The Tsunami is Victoria’s first triple funnel waterslide and the second stage of the $8 million waterpark expansion, adding to the Tornado precinct as another totally unique water ride for the park.
At an incredible 7.5 storeys high and 172m in length, the $4 million Tsunami will offer thrill seekers the ultimate aquatic rush, taking up to four riders through three fast mega funnels of menacing water rapids.
Colossal tidal waves and raging water will swirl, twirl and suck riders down a series of treacherous, snaking tunnels and whirlpool funnels.
Riders will be on the edge of their seats as they plummet down thrilling dark tunnels, catapult up funnel walls, and swirl through rips.
Adventure Park Geelong’s managing director Leanne Salmon, said The Tsunami would further cement the park as the ultimate go-to water park destination for Victorian families this summer.
“The new Tsunami ride provides visitors from near and afar the opportunity to experience a world class adrenaline-charged, monster-sized water ride that is the first of its kind in Victoria,” she said.

The park is due to open on November 1 but unfortunately guests will still have to carry up their rafts as the conveyor is not scheduled to be installed for another two years.
