Accused Billy Guest shooter Harry Dickenson fronts Supreme Court

The man accused of shooting Billy Guest dead in Geelong last year will return to court in 2021 after he was scheduled to appear in the Victorian Supreme Court on Monday.

The man accused of shooting Billy Guest dead in Geelong will return to court in the new year.

Harry Dickenson, 26, was scheduled to appear in the Victorian Supreme Court on Monday for a directions hearing.

The alleged victim and 29-year-old father was found slumped against a toilet block at Barwon Valley Park on December 21, 2019.

Mr Dickenson was freed on bail in October after being taken into custody in January when he was charged with murder.

According to police, it’s alleged he shot Mr Guest three times at the accused’s Grovedale home after a drug deal gone wrong.

Mr Guest left the property, but died soon after.

Mr Dickenson had previously indicated he would plead not guilty.

The matter had been adjourned for a further directions hearing on February 26, 2021.
