FOOTY fans have roasted Meat Loaf after a woeful performance at the MCG.
The American rocker, 64, kicked off his Grand Final performance with Hot Patootie Bless My Soul, from The Rocky Horror Show, which drew much mirth from viewers on Facebook and Twitter.
Meatloaf then slaughtered his most famous song, Bat Out of Hell, failing to hit one right note.
Celebrity DJ Ruby Rose on Twitter said, "Meatloaf nailing it 'took the words right out of my mouth'."
One Geelong fan on Facebook wrote, "Thank god that's over. I hope the Pies play just as bad as Meatloaf. Go you CATS."
But some viewers enjoyed the show, with Things Bogans Like saying, "This Meatloaf performance would be 40 per cent less awesome if he was in key."
Em Rusciano agreed: "Meatloaf picks his own key and sings in his own time. This is trainwrecktastic!"
While John Ginn on Facebook said, "Worst live performance ever medal... meatloaf... 3 votes."
It is unclear how much Meat Loaf was paid for the high-profile gig, but it could be as much as $600,000.
