THE SCHEDULE
Edmonton Storm v Southern Suburbs Cockatoos
Saturday at Petersen Park
3pm: CDRL Under-18s
They’re at opposite ends of the ladder but form will count for little when these southside rivals lock horns.
The Storm (1st, 22pts) can maintain top spot on the ladder with a victory, while the Cockatoos (10th, 10pts) can jump into eighth if they can pull off the upset.
4.30pm: CDRL Reserve Grade
Both sides will have plenty to play for in a clash that could go a long way to determining the make-up of this year’s finals.
The Storm (2nd, 20pts) is all but assured a place in the finals, while the Cockatoos (8th, 14pts) can close the gap on the top five with a win.
6pm: CDRL A Grade
A loss could be dire for either team’s fortunes as they make a late push for the finals.
The Storm (6th, 15pts) can drop as low as eighth with a loss, while the Cockatoos (8th, 14 pts) can leapfrog their rivals into seventh position with a win.
