The males told her they had a ride-share car and would take her home.
The victim was then driven in a silver Toyota Yaris to Albert Park where she was sexually assaulted.
She managed to escape after punching one of the men in the face, before alerting police to the terrifying attack.
The men were described as aged between 25 and 35 and of Indian or subcontinental appearance.
Detectives hope someone recognises the car identified in CCTV.
They are also looking for a man police believe spoke with the victim earlier in the night.
He is believed to be a witness only and not involved in the attack.
