Woman breaks through window, cuts man in Hughesdale aggravated burglary
A man has been stabbed in Melbourne’s southeast after he confronted a woman who climbed into his home through a bathroom window.

A man was taken to hospital with deep cuts to his torso after a woman broke into his home in Hughesdale early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a home on Warrigal Rd about 5.15am this morning to investigate an alleged aggravated burglary.
The male victim was taken to Alfred Hospital in stable condition with upper body injuries.

Officers were told a woman broke into the house though a bathroom window before she confronted a 48-year-old man.
A struggle ensued and the man was cut under his arm.
The female offender ran away and police are this morning searching the area.
