Victoria Police arrest wandering goat ‘Sunny’ in Albion

A WAYWARD goat has become an social media star after fugitive “Sunny” found itself behind bars after going on the run in suburban Melbourne.

A WAYWARD goat found wandering suburban Melbourne found itself behind bars this morning.

Police apprehended the goat, called Sunny, at Albion in Ridley St about 7.40am.

The force announced the unusual find on its Facebook site.

“Sunny the goat was a bit of a baaad boy in Albion today,’’ the post said.

“We think it was a bit fresh for an early morning stroll, but whatever floats your goat.”

The post attracted more than 1700 likes in just half an hour, some people offering to adopt the inquisitive animal.

“OMG, I was trying to chase this goat on Thursday. I saw it at Albion on the way home,’’ one user posted.

Another said: “Dam kids getting lost thank god for the law!”

Sunny was delivered to Brimbank Council rangers, without charge.
