Ute ram raided into two shops in Melbourne’s south

THUGS who ram raided a ute into two shops in the Frankston area overnight remain on the run.

THUGS who ram raided a ute into two shops in Melbourne’s south overnight remain on the run.

The white Ford utility with a silver tray was first used to plough in front of a milk bar on Austin Rd in Seaford around 1.45am.

Nothing was stolen from the milk bar.

It is believed the same offenders then smashed their way into the front of a shopping centre and into a cigarette shop at the corner of Ashleigh Avenue and Karingal Drive in Frankston about 2am.

Nothing was stolen from this cigarette shop.

The offenders fled the scene.

The white ute is believed to have significant damage. It was last seen driving towards Peninsula Link.

Police do not have a description of the offenders.

It is not known how many people were involved.

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area.
