Two men arrested in relation to Rosebud carjacking and robbery
TWO men have been arrested in connection with a violent Rosebud carjacking, days after police fired three shots at the pair during a pursuit on the Mornington Peninsula.

TWO men have been arrested over a violent Rosebud carjacking, days after being fired at by police.
A 26-year-old and 22-year-old man were today apprehended at a Skye Rd, Frankston address following a cat-and-mouse game with authorities on Friday.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers fired three shots at the pair during a car pursuit on Bittern-Dromana Rd.

The pair suffered minor injuries from the pursuit and were treated, according to police who found their car dumped at a Karingal reserve on Saturday.
The Rosebud men were pursued over an alleged link to a reported carjackinglast Thursday where innocent teenagers were rammed and forced to abandon their sedan after being abused and aggressively tailed on Waterfall Gully Rd.
“The investigation will be oversighted by the Professional Standards Command, as per standard protocol when shots have been fired by police,” the spokeswoman said.
The men were in custody last night and no charges had been laid.
“The incident is believed to be linked to an alleged carjacking on Waterfall Gully Rd just after midnight on 1 March and a subsequent robbery on Hove Rd,” the spokeswoman said.

“An 18-year-old Mornington woman and 15-year-old Rosebud boy were both previously charged in relation to the incident with robbery, carjacking, criminal damage by fire and theft of motor vehicle.”
