THE ex-partner of murdered Tralagon mum Gayle Potter has been remanded in custody after a brief court appearance.
Glenn Martyn, 53, appeared at Latrobe Magistrates Court this morning charged with murder after allegedly running down and killing his ex-partner with a car in Traralgon about 8.30pm on Tuesday.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on February 7.

His son was among those who supported him in court.
It was earlier alleged Mr Martyn knew Ms Potter and fled to a nearby property after fatally striking her that night.
Friends paid tribute to the beloved mother, understood to have worked at family store Traralgon West Nursery, on social media.
“My beautiful friend,” wrote one.
“I will miss you beyond words, it doesn’t make any sense to have you gone.”
