THE stroll to court has become Toby Mitchell faux catwalk, but his bedazzled clothing didn’t find its way onto the real Brownlow red carpet event.

One of Melbourne’s most notorious underworld figures implied he was attending AFL’s night of nights to his Instagram followers.

“Brownlow hear we come” (sic) he scribbled in a post, even though his bad boy ways have seen him banned by Crown.

Rather than attending the main event — he was at a non-black tie Brownlow-like function down the road at Docklands.

The former bikie enforcer for the Bandidos motorcycle gang posed with for photos with AFL greats including Anthony Koutoufides, Billy Brownless, Peter Daicos, gangland figure Mick Gatto and former boxer Grant Brown.

But he made sure he left the event before he got himself in trouble with the law.

Mitchell is on a night-time curfew with orders to stay home between 10pm and 6am after breaching a court order and kicking a man in the head in a Southbank bar fight just weeks after he was released from jail.

The order was slapped on the wayward criminal, who has violence and drug convictions, in a bid to tame his behaviour.

Mitchell took to Instagram last night to prove he was home, posting a raunchy video with a brunette and writing “and curfew is supposed to be a bad thing”.

Mitchell — who has survived two shootings — was one of the first criminals to be served with the new firearm prohibition order, which is touted as gangbusting laws.

The order lasts 10 years and allows police to raid properties, search cars and frisk people without a warrant.
