THREE men have been arrested over a string of armed robberies in Melbourne’s south east last night while one remains on the run from police.

THREE men have been arrested over a string of armed robberies in Melbourne’s south east last night while one remains on the run from police.
The three incidents happened in Dandenong between 7.30pm and 8pm within a 1km radius.
Police allege the first incident happened at 7.40pm on Cleeland Street in Dandenong, where a bus driver was robbed by a male, possibly armed with a weapon.

The second incident happened at 7.50pm on Ann Street in Dandenong where a male entered a house and demanded the occupant’s phone before fleeing.
The offender was also possibly armed with a weapon.
The third incident happened at 8pm on Herbert Street in Dandenong whereby it is alleged a man sitting in his car was approached by four males.
A man got in the front seat and demanded the victim’s keys and wallet.
The victim ran to a nearby house but was again approached by one of the males who then stolen his phone.
This man is described as possibly being armed with a weapon.
No one was physically injured during the incidents.
A 22-year-old Dandenong man, a 20-year-old Dandenong North man and a 20-year-old Dandenong man were arrested in Close Avenue Dandenong a short time later.
The three men are currently being interviewed while a fourth suspect remains on the run.
