Three arrested over Chapel St, South Yarra armed robbery

A MAN will remain in custody until next month after allegedly using a gun during an altercation on a popular Melbourne nightclub strip.

Three men were taken into custody after police were called to Chapel St, South Yarra, about 4.30am on Monday.

A 27-year-old Port Melbourne man faced the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday night charged with conduct endangering life and firearms related offences.

He has been remanded to appear at court on 17 April.

A 27-year-old Chelsea Heights man has been charged with two counts of recklessly cause injury and two counts of unlawful assault.

He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 3 July.

A 33-year-old St Kilda man was released from custody on Monday afternoon without charge.
