The Sunday Herald Sun understands that Friday’s attack was revenge for a stabbing at the jail three years ago.

Before Ivanovic was stabbed yesterday it is believed that an incident involving his “bodyguard” took place which led to a lock down at the jail.

Once that lock down was lifted Ivanovic was stabbed almost immediately.

Ivanovic was a pastry chef, drug dealer and friend of Williams, when he shot dead a motorcyclist in a road rage incident outside a Cornwall St home.

Ivanovic was not far from Williams in the Acacia Unit yard on April 19, 2010, when Johnson killed Williams with the stem of an exercise bike seat.

Authorities, however, do not confirm identities of victims.
