A teenager was stabbed in the upper body early today after a brawl involving up to 10 youths.
The 18-year-old Langwarrin man was being driven to hospital by friends when they saw an ambulance on the Frankston freeway and flagged the driver down.
Paramedics took the teen to The Alfred where he was in a serious condition this morning.
It’s believed the victim got into an argument with a youth on Fifth Avenue about 1am before a brawl erupted involving up to 10 other youths.

Detectives from Kingston Crime Investigation Unit are investigating and are appealing for help from the public.
