A teen is facing charges over blowing up a portable toilet at a work site in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
The exploding loo sparked an emergency response at a site in Glee Street, Wyndham Vale on Sunday.
No one was injured.
Detectives today arrested a 17-year-old boy at his home.
Police said they were expecting to lay multiple charges, including cause explosion likely to cause serious injury to property and make or use explosive, as well as drugs and weapons offences.
The boy was allegedly found in possession of a number of explosives and drugs at his house.
He is due to face a children’s court later today.
