The homicide squad is investigating the circumstances of the shooting.

Lindita and Veton had just arrived at Salisbury St after a three-day getaway to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

It is believed a gunman lay in wait for them and opened fire when they turned up.

Mr Shaptafaj was found soon after critically injured at the end of Salisbury St.
