A MAN from Melbourne’s southeast has been charged with grooming a child under 16 for sex.
The man, 63, was arrested today after detectives raided his Seaford home and seized electronic equipment.

He is facing charges of procuring and grooming a child under 16 for sexual activity, using a carriage service to transmit an indecent communication and breaching his sex offender registration obligations.
The man was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 21.
His arrest followed a joint investigation by detectives from the Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team and Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team.
