BULLETS shot at a Red Devils bikie gang’s clubhouse in Melbourne’s south-east is the focus of raids carried out today.

Police raided two properties following reports of shootings where a number of bullets were sprayed at the Clayton South warehouse.

Many clubs, including the Bandidos and Comancheros, have chapters in the area and attacks have been quashed over the past 12 months byt the Echo taskforce and local police, who have charged leading members of gangs.

A 33-year-old man was arrested over outstanding warrants and a 28-year-old woman was also taken into custody over minor drug offences.

Liqour was also seized over alleged licensing breaches..

Inspector John Cormack said police were after evidence “in the investigation of a shooting which occurred at the club house.”

``This investigation pertains in relation to reports and visions of shootings at the event. We have had a number of bullet holes located here as part of an ongoing investigation.’’

“The aim of today’s operation is to detect, identify and disrupt the illegal activities being undertaken by members of the Red Devils OMCG”.

The warrants were executed about 10am on the clubhouse at Whiteside Rd with detectives, response units, taskforces Razon and Echo, weapons, search and rescue and canine divisions.

The Red Devils are a feeder club to the international Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang.
