DRUGS, cars and stolen goods were seized by police during a million dollar drug bust in Melbourne’s north today.
Darebin detectives raided the Reservoir property shortly before 9.30am and uncovered almost 3kg of the drug speed hidden in a pile of car tyres.
Officers were investigating a series of car thefts and aggravated burglaries when they discovered the drugs worth more than $1 million.

Police also seized a number of stolen items including two cars, a number of power tools and other items suspected of being stolen from cars in the Northcote and Preston areas.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs, three counts of theft of motor vehicle and handle stolen goods.
He was remanded in custody by police and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
