TWO guards at Parkville’s youth justice centre were attacked by young inmates on Saturday night.
The guards did not require hospital treatment but the Herald Sun has been told one was left with a broken tooth and bloodied nose while the other was thrown to the floor and kicked and punched.

Victoria Police is investigating the attack, which happened shortly after 7.30pm.
A Department of Justice and Regulation spokeswoman said: “Police are investigating an incident that occurred at the Parkville Youth Justice Centre (Saturday) night.
“The safety of our staff and young people is a top priority and is treated with the utmost seriousness.
“All incidents of physical assaults in youth justice facilities are reported to police for investigation.”
The attack happened when the two staff members were escorting two inmates to their room.
The staff members were assessed and treated at the scene.
They did not need hospital treatment.
RAZOR WIRE INSTALLED AT YOUTH PRISON
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed paramedics were called to the youth justice centre at 7.38pm.
In April, the Herald Sun revealed razor wire was being installed at Parkville as an added security measure.
The hard line measure — usually associated with maximum-security prisons — is part of an upgrade of the centre following repeated trouble at the facility.
