Paramedics called after teen stabbed in Corio
A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed in the back this evening by a group of three males who wanted his wallet.

A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed in the back this evening by a group of three males who wanted his wallet.
Police are investigating the armed robbery, which took place in Evans Reserve in Corio around 4pm.
Sergeant Cameron Scott said the 15-year-old boy was approached by three males perceived to be of African appearance.
“They demanded his wallet which the teenager handed over before he was stabbed once in the back,” Sergeant Scott said.
Paramedics attended the scene and transported the teenager to Geelong University Public Hospital in a stable condition.
His injuries are believed to be in his upper body and are non-life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
