A fugitive sex offender has been charged after a month-long manhunt.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested in Melbourne’s southeast last night and charged this morning.
The man had been the subject of a major police operation after failing to provide police with a current address — a breach of his reporting conditions.
Victoria Police said they were unable to provide further comment or details of his charges.
A spokeswoman told the Herald Sun this morning the missing registered sex offender was arrested in Moorabbin on 7 February.
