A BIKIE clubhouse was firebombed on Australia Day with detectives hunting two men who were seen nearby at the time.

The Echo Task Force has released CCTV after the explosion at the Bandidos OMCG clubhouse in Geelong.

Two men, who police have not been able to identify, went to the Bayldon Court clubhouse around 2.10am on January 26 and used power gel and a detonator attached to a plastic fuel container. to set fire to the front of the building.

The men placed the explosive device in a brick alcove at the entrance to the clubhouse.

About 30 seconds after they got there they were seen on CCTV running away and four seconds later the explosion happened.

“We don’t know what is behind the attack,” Detective Senior Constable Ashley Hager of the Echo Task Force said.

“There is nothing to suggest it is a targeted attack from another outlaw motorcycle gang.

“It could be the result of infighting among their own club.

“Our strongest lead at this stage is the vehicle.

“The Bandidos haven’t been forthcoming in the investigation and the footage seized from their clubhouse was seized under warrant.
