They fled in a white Jeep Cherokee last seen driving south along Orrong Rd.
Six people inside the store, including two customers, were uninjured.
It was targeted only in January when thieves made of with $150,000 in jewellery — holding a pistol to the owner’s head and ordering staff to the ground.
The gun was later pointed at a woman watching the three raiders flee down Glen Huntly and Orrong roads to a getaway car.
Altona North Crime Investigation Unit is probing Tuesday’s heist.
A worker at H & H jewellery said they were unable to comment.
The attack comes less than a fortnight after three robbers armed with machetes and hammers stormed a Canterbury jewellery store in another repeat attack.
