Two men have been charged in connection with the incident after a bloody fight broke out in Etihad Stadium’s Medallion Club on May 25 at the Collingwood-Western Bulldogs game.
A Yarraville man, 69, has been charged with intentionally and recklessly causing injury and affray, while a Carnegie man, 46, also faces charges.
“Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this matter, but are still requesting witnesses or anyone who may have camera footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers,” Victoria Police spokesman Luke Zammit said.
Following the violence, Etihad Stadium CEO Michael Green said one of the men involved in the brawl had been banned.
The AFL is currently reviewing its match-day conditions of entry policy and is discussing changes with police, venues and clubs.
