A MAN has been charged over a collision that claimed the life of a 10-year-old Jack Power in Blackburn North.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged the 45-year-old Blackburn North man with dangerous driving causing death.

Police allege the man was driving a Toyota Hiace van that collided with Jack as he crossed Springfield Rd shortly before 6.30pm on August 18.
The Croydon boy was taken to hospital, where he died on August 21.
The man was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
