FOOTAGE of a heavily tattooed man wearing a wig being dramatically arrested has emerged from a suburban shopping centre in Melbourne’s east after reports were made to police the man was carrying a gun.
The male was allegedly seen walking around Knox shopping centre in Wantirna South with a firearm yesterday.

Victoria Police confirmed the man was arrested.
“A 42-year-old man from Tecoma has been charged with prohibited person carrying an imitation firearm and six counts of resist arrest,” Victoria Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said.
“He was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates Court on 11 July.”
The arrest occurred at a cafe within the shopping centre.
The male is captured on video being arrested by at least six police officers.
A white gun is pictured being handled by police following the arrest.
