Lara man still critical after shooting incident
A man is still fighting for his life after suffering a serious gunshot wound at a Lara property on Wednesday night. Police have spent the day investigating the crime scene.

A MAN is still fighting for his life after being shot in the face at a Lara property.
The 34-year-old man was flown to The Alfred hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries around 6pm on Wednesday.
It’s understood police have spent the night scouring the Bacchus Marsh Rd address as they attempt to work out the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries.

Police media spokeswoman Belinda Batty said last night that the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
“The yet to be formally identified man was located and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries,” Ms Batty said.
Police have not yet revealed if they have seized the weapon.
