MORE remains have been found in an area of the Mornington Peninsula where two divers went missing last weekend.
Police have been scouring rocks around Fingal Beach, near Cape Schanck, since last Saturday when the pair vanished while looking for shellfish.
Victoria Police said suspected human remains had been found this morning.
They will be taken to the Coroner’s Court for forensic examination.
A piece of wetsuit and other remains were found in the area on Tuesday.
Police believe the men, a 42-year-old from St Albans and a 34-year-old from Vermont South, were caught out by big waves as the fished.
The area of coast is exposed and fringed by uneven sections of rock shelf.
A Keysborough man, 50, who was diving with the pair raised the alarm after being able to swim to shore.
