THE homicide squad continues to probe the Australia Day death of Ocean Grove mother Samantha Kelly, despite early beliefs she died of a heart attack.
Police have confirmed her death is still suspicious and officers are still conducting forensic procedures.
Ms Kelly, 41, died after being found unconscious in her newly built Ocean Grove home early on January 26.

Paramedics were called to the Conran Dr property Ms Kelly shared with two young sons and her plumber husband Ryan Marriner at about 5.15am.
The marketing professional was taken to Geelong Hospital, where she later died.
Mr Marriner has said his wife died of a heart attack.
In the months since, police have refused to go into detail about their investigation, and have repeatedly refused to confirm Ms Kelly’s cause of death.
This week, Victoria Police issued a new statement after multiple requests for updates from the Geelong Advertiser.
A spokesman said: “The investigation remains ongoing and it is very much staying with the homicide squad.
“A number of forensic procedures are still being undertaken in relation to it.”
According to some unofficial reports, homicide squad detectives were deployed to the Ocean Grove address because Ms Kelly had suffered head injuries.
It has been reported her legs were heavily bruised when she was found in the lounge room.
Police are understood to have interviewed Mr Marriner and others, but have said there is no hunt for a suspect and no one has been charged.
Mr Marriner took to social media in February to raise money to “restore” his family. The GoFundMe page raised $840 and has since been closed.
In a statement, Mr Marriner, said: “Our family has suffered the worst loss imaginable. On the 26th of January, Samantha, my wife and my boys’ mother, tragically and unexpectedly died of cardiac arrest.”
