FOUR youths led police on a high speed chase this morning, with the teens taking out a power pole during their spree through Hampton Park.

FOUR teens are on the run after they leading police on a high speed chase in Hampton Park this morning.
Police spotted the white Holden Commodore speeding north along the South Gippsland Freeway shortly after 11am.
A second highway patrol vehicle tried to stop the sedan as it exited the South Gippsland Highway onto the Princess Highway.
The driver mounted the centre median strip, clipping a power pole which then fell onto the police car and a Volkswagen Tiguan.
The Holden then turned into Doveton Avenue before four youths dumped the car in Gumbuya Close, Eumemmerring and fled.
The male senior constable and female constable were not injured but the bonnet of their car was damaged.
The VW’s roof was also damaged when the power pole fell, but the sole occupant, a man in his mid 70s, wasn’t hurt.
