A GIRL is fighting for life after a truck and car collided in Wyndham Vale last night.
The 10-year-old was one of four family members injured when their Mitsubishi Outlander collided with a truck near the Ballan Rd and Welcome Parade intersection about 9.20pm.
The girl was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition, but this morning her condition improved to serious but stable.

Police believe the Volvo tip truck and trailer smashed into the rear of the stationary four-wheel drive, which may have been turning right into Welcome Parade.
A 5-year-old was also taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital. Their condition is unknown.
Two adults, a man aged in his 40s and a woman aged in her 30s, were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in stable conditions.
The truck driver, a 51-year-old Kurungjang man stopped at the crash scene is assisting police with inquiries.
