But more time would be needed for a contest mention hearing than was available in court today, he said.
Thompson was charged on May 1 with seven offences including trafficking ecstasy and ice as well as possessing ecstasy, ice, LSD and Xanax.
The court has previously been told that when he was arrested police seized large amounts of drugs including ecstasy, ice, ephedrine and LSD from Thompson’s converted Port Melbourne warehouse.
The home was raided in January.
Drug paraphernalia including scales, hard-drives, ice pipes, deal bags and prescription drugs were also seized.
Thompson had his bail extended and must return to court on October 9.
