THREE teenage girls have been charged after allegedly dragging a woman from her car and breaking her nose during a brazen daylight carjacking in Dandenong.
The alleged incident played out on Hutton St about 5pm on Tuesday when the victim was approached by three girls as she was leaving work.
The victim, 45, was reportedly punched three times to the face and kicked by the attackers after being dragged from the driver’s seat of her white Mazda SUV.
The girls then allegedly drove off in the car.

Her husband told the Herald Sun his wife was rattled.
“She is in a lot of shock and emotionally drained,” he said.
The girls are alleged to have bashed a shop worker and stole cigarettes from a supermarket on Ormond Rd in Narre Warren, police have said.
“Just before midnight police intercepted the vehicle with the three girls and a teenage boy on board in Mulgrave,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
A 17-year-old girl will be charged with carjacking, evading police, assault and theft and has been bailed to appear at children’s court at a later date.
Two girls, aged 18 and 15, have been charged on summons with carjacking, theft, assault and evade police. A 16-year-old boy is also expected to be charged on summons with theft of motor car.
The victim was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose and facial lacerations.
