The body of a man found with gunshot wounds inside a crashed car in Melbourne’s southeast last night is believed to have died in a targeted attack.
The man, aged in his 50s, was found unresponsive and with what appeared to be gunshot wounds after the car hit a pole on Dawn Ave at Dandenong just before 10pm.

Homicide detectives are treating the incident as targeted but do not believe it is linked with the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Ben Togiai outside the Melbourne Pavilion at Kensington on Friday.
