Brazen thieves use SUV to smash into store

THREE men are on the run after they smashed into an outdoor specialist store in Frankston, targeting an unusual haul.

RAM raiders are on the run after using a stolen SUV to smash into an Anaconda clothing store this morning.

Police are investigating the damage to the Cranbourne Road storefront in Frankston as the hunt for three men begins.

It’s understood a stolen red Ford Territory rammed into the front of the store about 6.30am.

A police spokeswoman said three offenders, believed to be men aged between 25 and 35 years old, stole a large amount of clothing before fleeing the scene.

The men are believed to have made their getaway in a white Mazda SUV.

The exact circumstances are still being investigated.
