A YOUNG boy has drowned in a creek in a tragic accident in Melbourne’s west tonight.
The three-year-old was found in Kororoit Creek in Burnside, behind his family home, about 6.30pm.
Paramedics could not revive the boy.
A large group of family members held each other and shed tears as the boy’s body was brought to the ambulance and taken away.
Neighbours joined them at the front of the home and offered hugs and support.
The death was not being treated as suspicious.
The creek backs onto the property.
