Bandido bikie’s girlfriend faces drug dealing allegations

A woman linked to the drug raids on Mark “Bomber” Thompson, who was arrested alongside her Bandido bikie associate fiance for drug trafficking, now faces allegations of dealing drugs while on bail.

AFL legend convicted of drug possession

A bikie moll linked to the drug raids on fallen AFL legend Mark “Bomber” Thompson has been sentenced to 472 days in jail for drug trafficking — time she has already served.

But Katia Drcec, 24, won’t walk free as she remains on remand for allegedly dealing in a commercial quantity of drugs while on bail.

Drcec was arrested alongside her convicted drug trafficking fiance Karl “Bang Bang” Holt, a former tennis prodigy turned Bandidos associate, after police stopped their car in Corio on January 4 last year.

A search of the Mercedes, which had ONBA1L number plates, found 82g of ice under the back seat. Drcec’s handbag contained 18.7g of ice, an ice pipe and a Louis Vuitton purse holding $2349 cash.

A search of her mother’s Mill Park home, where Drcec was living with Holt, uncovered 212.1g of ice, scales and deal bags. A handgun was found in the garage.

The pair had been dating for five months, the County Court heard. By helping Holt move drugs, she could easily feed her 3.5g-a-day ice habit.

Drcec was initially denied bail upon her arrest, but after 315 days behind bars she was released last November to spend three months in a drug rehab clinic.

The court heard that soon after doing the program and while awaiting her return to court, she was allegedly caught dealing a commercial quantity of drugs early this year. She was charged and her bail revoked.

Police allege she also breached bail by calling Holt, 32, while he was in prison.

County Court judge David Brookes said it was “very disappointing” Drcec was facing more charges. “I must deter other people from behaving like you,” he said, adding that drugs were having a “devastating” impact on Victorian youth.

Drcec pleaded guilty to trafficking a drug of dependence from September 2017 to January 2018, and dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime.

Holt, now said to be her ex, was sentenced to 2½ years’ jail in May over a raft of charges including trafficking a commercial quantity of ice.

Their associate, Thomas Windsor, 28, was staying at the Port Melbourne home of Thompson when it was raided a day after Drcec and Holt’s arrest. Thompson, 55, was sentenced to a 12-month community corrections order and fined $3500 after being convicted of possessing almost 500 ecstasy pills, ice and LSD.

Drcec will return to court next week.
