A MAN charged over a security breach at Melbourne airport where he allegedly ran on to the tarmac after missing his flight has failed to appear in court.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Andrew Judd, 57, after he didn’t show for the first listing of his case at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
MAN CHARGED AFTER TRYING TO BREAK INTO PLANE
Mr Judd was charged on summons with unlawful assault after he allegedly attacked a Jetstar crew member about 9.30am on May 17.
Footage shows a man, who police will allege is Mr Judd, running on to the tarmac and banging and kicking the door of a Sydney-bound Jetstar flight.
There were no passengers on-board at the time.
Baggage handlers managed to restrain him until Australian Federal Police officers swooped in to arrest him.
He had reportedly missed his flight to Adelaide hours earlier.
AFP are continuing to investigate the incident.
