THE first ever AMBER alert has been issued for a two-year-old girl missing from Melbourne’s southeast for more than a week. It is believed she may be with her parents.

AN ALERT has been issued for a two-year-old girl missing from Melbourne’s southeast for more than a week.

Milena Malkic was last seen in the Springvale area on Thursday last week.

It is believed she may be with her parents Nadia Malkic and Joshua Coates in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Altona, Warrnambool, Stawell or Gippsland.

The family may be travelling in a blue 2002 Ford Falcon with registration 1HZ 4SU.

Police hold concerns for the toddler due to her age.

An AMBER Alert has been issued over the case — the first in Victoria under a new system introduced on Thursday to ensure the safe and immediate return of children.

Police have released an image of Milena and her parents in the hope someone recognises them.

It’s believed they may be travelling in a blue 2002 Ford Falcon with registration 1HZ 4SU.
