THE ex-husband of a mother-of-three found dead in her Phillip Island garage last week has received threats, a court has heard.
Adrian James Basham, 41, was due to appear at La Trobe Magistrates’ Court today on charges laid prior to Samantha Fraser’s death.
Details of those charges have now been suppressed until August 2.

Basham’s lawyer John Sutton said he was concerned following recent media reports.
“There has been recent publicity that relates to matters to do with Basham’s wife which has nothing to do with any charges that have been brought before the court,” he said.
“My concern is that Mr Basham’s current matters are not prejudiced in any way.
“I also have concerns for his safety.”
Mr Sutton said Basham recently received a “threatening text” following the publicity of Ms Fraser’s death.
“The words were ‘when they find him, they’ll fix him up’,” he said.
