Actor Craig McLachlan will face his accusers in court next week as all four of his alleged victims say they want to give their testimony from inside the courtroom.
Details of the Gold Logie award winners’ alleged indecent assaults are set to be heard in court on Monday as the prosecution opens its case ahead of a three-week courtroom showdown.
McLachlan, 53, was charged in January with a series of assault-related offences alleged to have occurred when he was in Melbourne playing Dr Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror Show theatre production in 2014.
He has denied the allegations.
During a brief administrative hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday, the prosecution told the court the four complainants have declined the use of a remote witness facility.
They also indicated one alleged victim had requested a screen be brought to the courtroom to shield them.

The hearings will be closed to the public while the alleged victims give their evidence.
Up to 30 witnesses, including from Cape Town, Abu Dhabi and interstate are set to be called during the contested hearing.
In April, McLachlan won the right to have the charges remain in the Magistrates Court instead of going to trial by jury in the County Court where penalties are higher.
