Police have charged the 33-year-old woman with murder after the death of a man in the Bendigo suburb of Kangaroo Flat.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 6pm on Saturday after an incident at a home in Pauline Court that left a man with stab wounds.
Ambulance Victoria paramedics treated him at the scene but he could not be saved.

The area was cordoned off as forensic examiners looked over the scene for evidence.

After being questioned for hours, the woman was charged Christmas morning with the man’s murder.
She was later remanded in an out-of-sessions hearing.
