A young southeast Queensland couple are facing a combined 24 charges after an alleged armed robbery at a Bunnings Warehouse in Logan, before allegedly subsequently crashing a stolen car after evading police.

Banksia Beach woman Jasmine Dodd, 24, and her Southport boyfriend Jaidan Hadi, 26, both had their charges briefly mentioned in Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Neither appeared in person. Ms Dodd’s Legal Aid solicitor told the court her client would not be applying for bail, while the court heard Mr Hadi remained at Gold Coast University Hospital from injuries sustained in the alleged stolen car crash.

The pair, who were both on bail at the time of the new allegations, will have their charges mentioned again in the coming days.
