Woman “didn’t expect” to catch friend breastfeeding her son
In the TikTok video, which has amassed 2.8 million views, the Malaysian woman explained she quickly gave her friend her son because she was “close” to the mother.
“I didn’t expect that she could do such a thing,” she said, as per Asia One.
“But suddenly, while I was carrying those things, I saw that she was, like, doing something at the back in an open hall,” she continued.
“Turns out, she was breastfeeding Haider,” she said, horrified.
When Afiqah confronted her friend about it, “her excuse was that my baby was crying”. However, she disputed this as she had just breastfed her son.
“So I couldn’t accept her excuse and I don’t know … I’ll be haunted by this incident,” she said. “Which mother can accept her baby being directly breastfed by someone else while the mother herself has breastmilk?”

“It’s difficult for me to trust other people now”
What’s worse, this isn’t the first time the friend has been caught in the act.
“I caught her breastfeeding my baby during the first time. The second time, it was my mother [who caught her],” she said.
“Now, I’m having a tough time shaking it off my mind.”
She explained the incident had affected her ability to trust others. “I’m very disheartened,” she said.
“I take good care of my children, ensuring that nobody randomly kisses or hugs them because I’m afraid of them getting infected by diseases,” she said.

“How can anyone do that without thinking?”
A wave of supporters defended the mum and shared their disgust at the act.
“How can anyone do that without thinking?” wrote one shocked person. “Don’t trust anyone after this,” said another.
“How are there people like this?” one baffled person asked.
Others wondered why the friend didn’t give the crying baby back to his mother. “Even if the baby cries, the mother is still there,” wrote one person.
“Got to be careful with people like that,” cautioned another.
