A self-described “body sculpting artist”, cosmetic surgeon Dr Mitchell Kim has trained extensively in all areas of cosmetic procedures including liposuction, injectables and laser treatments.

He was the first doctor in Australia to complete the “Total Definer” body sculpting surgery course in Colombia.

Dr Kim said the Cosmos Clinic was an Australian leader in the Brazilian Butt Lift, which uses purified fat from areas where people don’t want it, to give their bottom a larger, more lifted appearance.

“Pop culture and social media has contributed to the number of people chasing the hourglass look,” he said.

“Trends have changed and women have embraced a healthier looking figure.”

Dr Kim graduated from the University of NSW with a Medical Degree and has worked throughout Australia and Korea.

He obtained a second degree in dentistry to work in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has performed all aspects of facial surgery, from trauma to complex microvascular reconstruction.

His Instagram is filled with posts showing off his work on a number of clients, including influencers.

In his spare time, he enjoys adventures with his young family.

This Gold Coast social scene regular is a specialist in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery and prides himself on delivering “beautiful and natural results”.

Dr Craig Layt graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1988 and served as president of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons from 2010 until July 2012.

Dr Sheree Moko – Sheree Moko Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Specialties: Her reconstructive surgical practice focuses on breast reconstruction for women undergoing, or who have had, treatment for cancer; surgery for male breast enlargement and reduction surgery for women with enlarged labia (labiaplasty).

Dr Sheree Moko boasts an incredible resume – being the first New Zealand Maori woman surgeon.

This married mother of two describes herself as a “passionate reconstructive plastic surgeon” who is “devoted to helping people affected by defects resulting from trauma, tumour, or birth deformities”.

Dr Moko’s volunteer work includes providing plastic surgery services to people in developing countries.

Dr Luke Stradwick – Gold Coast Surgery Centre

When he’s not catching waves or snowboarding, this self-described perfectionist is helping people achieve their goals at Southport’s Gold Coast Surgery Centre.

Outside of the operating theatre, he is focused on living a healthy lifestyle, studying and preparing for his next operating session.

“My defining characteristic is perfectionism. I have an innate drive to perform at the highest level in everything I do,” Dr Stradwick’s website states.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr Mark Magnusson has helped set up the state's first breast implant illness initiative at St Andrew's Private Hospital.

Associate Professor Dr Mark Magnusson has worked as a qualified specialist plastic surgeon on the Gold Coat since 2016 and Toowoomba since 2000.

Dr Magnusson said he had helped many patients across southeast Queensland by helping them with their aesthetic goals and to create a plan to achieve them.

He has previously served as president of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Dr Simon Rosenbaum – Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Centre

Specialties: Facial cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation, laser surgery, liposculpture and abdominoplasty

Dr Simon Rosenbaum is one of the Gold Coast’s most experienced cosmetic surgeons, having worked in the industry for more than 20 years.

With more than 3000 breast augmentation procedures completed, he is considered one of the country’s leaders in breast surgery.

He also mentors in surgical techniques such as laser skin resurfacing, suture lifts and fat transfers.

Dr Rosenbaum is not currently working.
