An e-scooter rider has died following a crash on the Gold Coast on Friday.
Paramedics were called to Gloucester Court in Highland Park at around 12.13pm and treated the rider who had life-threatening head injuries.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said a member of the public who was walking in Natural Bushland Park discovered the rider unresponsive and called emergency services.
Paramedics performed CPR on the rider who later died at the scene.
It is unclear at this stage whether the crash involved another vehicle.
Investigations are underway.
