Alleged Comanchero bikie associate faces 128 charges

A Gold Coast man with alleged links to the Comanchero bikie gang has been charged with 128 drug offences after police found $70,000 worth of methamphetamine during a search.

Maxima detectives intercepted a vehicle in east Brisbane about 10pm on June 7 as part of a crackdown on outlaw motorcycle gangs.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found quantities of methamphetamine with a street value of about $70,000.

Following further investigations on June 17, police found drugs including cocaine, methamphetamine and cannabis during a raid of a Surfers Paradise address.

A 31-year-old Surfers Paradise man was charged with 128 offences relating to drug trafficking, supply and possession.

Detectives will allege the man is an associate of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang.

He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 21.

Investigations remain ongoing.
